Mesa, Arizona

Artificial turf cleaning in Mesa.

Mesa has some of the oldest artificial turf installs in the East Valley, and older turf shows it: matted fibers, thinning infill and years of accumulated organic buildup. A Reset lifts, cleans and deodorizes turf that homeowners often assume is beyond saving.

Why Mesa turf

What we see in Mesa yards.

Mesa turf skews old. A lot of it went in ten or fifteen years ago in Dobson Ranch and Alta Mesa, and by now the infill has compacted or blown out and the fibers lie flat. That is a grooming and infill problem as much as a cleaning problem. Newer Eastmark installs have the opposite issue: fine construction dust off open lots gets into everything.

Pet turf cleaning in Mesa

Older turf holds odor differently. Once infill has broken down, there is less material to carry the treatment and more backing exposed, so pet-heavy Mesa yards often need a second enzyme pass and fresh antimicrobial infill to actually hold the result. We will tell you which one your yard needs after we walk it.

How a Mesa Reset runs.

Same process every yard, scoped to what your turf actually needs.

  1. 01

    Walk the yard

We inspect the turf before touching it: square footage, fiber condition, infill depth, drainage, seams, and the hot spots where pets go most. Anything we can't fix, like a failing install, damaged seams or drainage built wrong, we tell you up front instead of cleaning around it.

  2. 02

    Clear the surface

Leaves, dust, gravel, blown-in debris and loose pet hair are removed from the surface and the perimeter with commercial blowers and vacuums so nothing gets driven deeper into the turf during the wash.

  3. 03

    Power broom and de-mat

A power broom lifts flattened, matted fibers back upright and pulls embedded hair and organic material up out of the infill where a hose can never reach it. This is the step that makes old turf look new again.

  4. 04

    Deep clean and sanitize

The turf is saturated with a pet-safe, biodegradable turf cleaner that breaks down the uric acid and organic residue causing odor, not a fragrance that covers it. It's agitated into the base, given dwell time to work, and then rinsed through the turf and its drainage layer.

  5. 05

    Odor neutralize

Pet-heavy yards get an enzyme-based odor treatment applied to the infill and backing, targeting the bacteria that regenerate smell in the heat. Multi-dog yards and the worst hot spots get a second pass.

  6. 06

    Infill reset and groom

The existing infill is redistributed and leveled so fibers stay upright and the surface drains evenly. Where infill has broken down or run low, we quote fresh antimicrobial infill. A final groom sets the blade direction across the yard.

  7. 07

    Final walkthrough

Hardscape is blown clean, gates are closed, and you get before-and-after photos by text along with an honest recommendation on how often this yard should be serviced. The turf is dry and usable within a couple of hours.

My turf is twelve years old. Is it worth cleaning or should I replace it?

Walk it first. If the backing is intact and the seams are holding, a Reset with a power broom and fresh infill usually buys several more good years for a fraction of a replacement. If the fibers are shredded down to the backing in traffic lanes or the seams have separated, we will say so and not sell you a cleaning.
